Imperial Parking entered the San Francisco market in February 2000 with the operation of the San Francisco Giants' parking lots at SBC Park (now known as AT&T Park), the Giants' new downtown baseball stadium. Imperial was actively involved in the design and construction of the four lots, ensuring that these lots were completed on time for the Giants' first game at the new ball park on March 31, 2000.

Since then, Impark has begun operation of many additional parking facilities, including a restaurant valet (Acme Chophouse), several parking garages located near Fisherman's Wharf at Pier 39, and several parking lots in the downtown area.
